$275 for lessons on Sunday evenings November 6 through February 19. Additional weekday morning lessons weekly.

Figure Skating Lessons

A fun Introduction to skating for kids ages 5 and up. Skaters must turn 5 by December 31, 2022 to be eligible.

Classes held on Sundays beginning November 6, 2022

Beginner and Intermediate Lessons are Sunday mornings between 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Exact lesson times TBD.

High Intermediate and Advanced Lessons on Sunday evenings between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Exact lesson times TBD.

High Intermediate and Advanced skaters will also have one morning a week of lessons from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. While this lesson is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged for skill advancement.

Watch for an email after registration for the exact time your skater(s) should arrive.

Instructors invite you to have fun while exploring the basics of skating. Starting in January, each group will learn a number to perform in Middlebury College’s Winter Carnival Ice Show on February 17-19, 2023 which marks the end of the skating lessons.

Classes will take place at Middlebury College’s Kenyon Arena.

Class expectations: Children should be dressed and ready to go by the class start time so they don’t miss any of the fun. It takes about 15 minutes to get them ready. Appropriate skating attire includes hats, coat and gloves, and of course skates.

Parent information: Parents may watch from seating area in Kenyon Arena. Parents will be asked to volunteer during the season and for the Show.
